1996 – Judea Reform Congregation purchased acreage on Cornwallis Road with the vision of eventually creating a "Jewish Campus"

1998 – Lerner Jewish Community Day School opens its doors in its new facility.

2003 – Federation conducts a community-wide Strategic Plan that concludes the community wants a Jewish Community Center, Senior Services and Programs, as well as additional programming for Teens.

2004 – Lerner Jewish Community Day School Board determines that facilities need to be expanded.

2005 – LJCDS and the Federation come together to form the Jewish Community Partnership (JCP).

– The JCP retains Steve Drysdale to conduct a community-wide
Feasibility Study
that determines that we are ready for a community facility and have the capacity to raise $6 - $7 million dollars.

2006 – The JCP held a covenant signing ceremony for the community,formalizing the partnership of the day school and Federation.

– Steve Drysdale is retained as our project consultant.
The JCP formalizes itself as an organization with a board of directors and committee structure.

– The Federation and JCP conduct a community-wide survey to
determine what the community expects from a JCC.

– The silent phase of the Capital Campaign begins - $850,000 is raised from 12 families.

2007 – SAVE THE DATE! June 3, 2007 at Judea Reform the JCP will launch the public capital campaign

2008 – Ground Breaking

2009 – Ribbon Cutting
