Partnership for a Jewish Center
The Partnership for a Jewish Center is a joint project of the Durham-Chapel Hill Jewish Federation, its subsidiary agencies, and the Lerner Jewish Community Day School. Together, after much study and careful planning, we have created a vision for the “J” - a new facility on the Cornwallis Road site open to the entire community and built on the core principle of shared use. It will house the offices of our community’s primary social service and philanthropic agencies, provide athletic facilities and classrooms for the school and the community at large, and serve everyone from infants to seniors through recreational, social and cultural programs.
